The Department of Informatics is looking to recruit one full-time Programme Officer to support the Undergraduate Taught Programmes.

The Programme Officer supports students and academic staff as the first point of contact for queries, whether face-to-face, via phone or electronic media. The role is responsible for essential work to support the delivery of our undergraduate programmes and for ensuring that student lifecycle activities run smoothly, ensuring that our students and staff experience our services in a seamless and effective manner. With support to develop a working knowledge of regulations and processes, the Programme Officer is a valued and trusted member of the team with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.

It is an exciting time to join the department as we continue to expand our undergraduate offering. In September 2023 we will be launching our new BSc in Artificial Intelligence which will provide our students with more choice and targeted career options. We have a friendly and hard-working team and looking forward to a self-motivated and inquisitive new member to join us.

This is currently a hybrid role and the role holder will spend part of their working week on campus and part of the week working remotely.

The role will be based at Bush House at the Strand Campus – visit the King’s HR pages for more information.
