The successful candidate will assist in the running of the AVATAR2 study which is funded by The Wellcome Trust and will work directly with a Research Clinical Psychologist (the Trial Co-ordinator) and with the team of researchers and clinicians. This will involve liaising with local NHS teams and staff members, assisting in the identification and recruitment of appropriate participants, meeting with participants to collect outcome data, and entering the data for analysis.

In addition, the post holder will receive training in assessing and communicating with people with psychosis. The successful candidate will work together with the multidisciplinary research team led by Professor Philippa Garety. The research team includes internationally renowned clinician researchers who have been instrumental in developing innovative psychological models and treatments for psychosis.

The post holder will be based at the IoPPN, Denmark Hill, London.
However, the work will be undertaken across participating teams predominantly within the Psychosis Clinical Academic Group in the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and at other local NHS Trusts, where agreed as participating NHS sites.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 34 months.

This is a full-time post.

The selection process will include a panel interview and an assessment.
