We are looking for a motivated graduate with a psychology or related degree to work as a research assistant with the Twins Early Development Study (TEDS) based within the Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry Centre. TEDS is a longitudinal study following twins born in 1994-1996 to the present day. The project investigates the genetic and environmental influences in cognitive, behavioural and psychological traits. This 6-month position will involve assisting with grant applications, continuing liaison with families taking part in the study, keeping the study social media outlets and website updated, mailing and other basic clerical duties.
Applicants should have experience of working within a team environment as well as experience of working on their own. They should also have excellent organisational and time-management skills.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 6 months.
The selection process will include a panel interview.
