Assistant Professor

Job purpose
We are looking for highly motivated, outstanding scientists and active researchers who are equipped with the ability to create a difference. Responsibilities include writing proposals for funding, acquiring grants, engaging in scholarly activities, teaching and working on programs accreditation.
Duties
The incumbent is expected to carry out advanced biochemical and immunological that will include flow cytometry, ELISA, Western blot, qPCR and other related technologies. The selected candidate must be highly motivated and willing to take initiative and work independently as well as with other members of the research group. The postdoctoral associate will be provided opportunities and support for independent grant writing and career development

Key selection criteria
Candidates must have an MD, PhD, MD/PhD degree with a focus in immunology or a related field. Experience with transgenic or knockout mice, flow cytometry analysis, biochemistry and molecular biology techniques or bioinformatics is preferred. Candidates with first author publications and good spoken and written English
