Brief Description

  • To provide high quality research support and undertake internationally competitive research aimed at publication thereby contributing to the academic and research mission of the University.
  • Ability to present research plans and findings in a convincing style, both in oral and written modes of communication.

Detailed Description

Performing scientific research and analysis and carrying out experiments to support the analysis. Capable of preparing brines and performing core flooding experiments. Conducting research to develop new procedures and methods to save time and resources. Maintaining and operating lab equipment in proper condition for performing research experiments. Ensuring adequate safety of area to prevent any possible accidents. Collect and analyse data   Reporting to the research leader; assist in writing of scientific and review papers, including preparation of figures and grant applications, and other duties as required. Provides research support toward identifying academic and other events, nationally, regionally and globally, of potential interest for the project.    

Job Requirements

Obtained an M.S. in Petroleum engineering
