Brief Description

  • To provide high quality research support and undertake internationally competitive research aimed at publication thereby contributing to the academic and research mission of the University.
  • Ability to present research plans and findings in a convincing style, both in oral and written modes of communication.

Detailed Description

  • Performing scientific research and analysis and carrying out experiments to support the analysis.
  • Capable of preparing brines and performing coreflooding experiments.
  • Conducting research to develop new procedures and methods to save time and resources.
  • Maintaining and operating lab equipment in proper condition for performing research experiments.
  • Ensuring adequate safety of area to prevent any possible accidents.
  • Collect and analyse data
  • Reporting to the research leader; assist in writing of scientific and review papers, including preparation of figures and grant applications, and other duties as required.
  • Provides research support toward identifying academic and other events, nationally, regionally and globally, of potential interest for the project.
  • Performs other similar or related duties as and when assigned by the supervisor.
