The Department is committed to providing quality education and research. It now recruits a tenure-track faculty member in the following area:

Associate Professor / Assistant Professor (PR0277/19-20) 

The appointee will teach at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and conduct independent programmes of research. Applicants should have a PhD degree in Chemistry plus post-doctoral experience in Analytical Chemistry. Strong research background and solid publication record in bio-mass spectrometry are required. Experience in mass spectrometry-based omics and imaging is preferred.

The appointee will be jointly affiliated to the State-Key Laboratory of Environmental and Biological Analysis that has the best mass spectrometry facility in Hong Kong, including three new Orbitrap MS and one Bruker Rapiflex MALDI-Imaging, as well as cell and animal rooms.

The appointment will be offered on a tenure track. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of up to three years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
