FACULTY OF SCIENCE
The Faculty of Science comprises of five academic departments including Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics. The Faculty advocates cross-disciplinary approaches, with research activities focusing on the Faculty Niche Research Area "Environmental and Health", and the University Research Clusters "Health and Drug Discovery" (http://health-dd.hkbu.edu.hk/) and "Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in X" (http://hkbu.ai/). We offer exceptional opportunities for interdisciplinary ventures and collaboration. Our central facilities constitute the latest technologies to bring effective solutions to advance research and innovation.
The Faculty of Science now invites applications for appointments as Research Assistant Professors for Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics, to commence as soon as possible.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of three years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Applicants should have (i) a relevant PhD degree; (ii) strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching; and (iii) outstanding accomplishments and research potential.
