As part of our continued growth, De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) is establishing Leicester Castle Business School. Building on our reputation for high quality research and teaching, particularly in post-graduate and executive education, the school will offer a portfolio of inter-disciplinary and creative new courses for high-calibre students. Headquartered in the historic Great Hall of Leicester Castle and drawing upon expertise and corporate connections throughout DMU, this new business school will foster a strong and collaborative research community. Faculty appointees have the opportunity to be part of the development of a prestigious global business school that will distinguish itself by research and educational initiatives that are cross-disciplinary, impactful and cutting edge. Drawing upon strong contacts with local and global organisations, the Leicester Castle Business School will be a hub for connecting with business leaders, leading researchers and new research and teaching opportunities. The new Principal has made a strong commitment to ensuring that faculty members receive sufficient mentoring, support and development to achieve high global standards of research and teaching.

We are seeking to appoint a Professor in Creative Industries Management who will bring an outstanding record of research and publication. You will play a leading role in building and sustaining a strong research community in Leicester Castle Business School and to creating links with relevant university departments. In addition to an outstanding research portfolio, you must have a positive track record in teaching, should be innovative in your approaches to teaching and research, and should demonstrate leadership in the field through participation in professional bodies and links with relevant companies and organisations.
