As part of its ongoing commitment to excellence, the university is now seeking to appoint a new Pro Vice-Chancellor/Dean of Technology.
Overseeing a cutting-edge portfolio of teaching and research, the Faculty of Technology spans the Schools of Engineering & Sustainable Development; Computer Science & Informatics and Leicester Media School. Bridging the technical and creative disciplines in order to drive innovation and invention it maximises industry-standard facilities to deliver an outstanding student experience.

A superb strategic leader with exceptional credentials in their field, the new postholder will also support university-wide change and improvement in an innovative and agile manner; demonstrating and promoting counter-intuitive thinking where appropriate. Externally, s/he will represent the institution across a range of relevant audiences, working to enhance its brand and reputation regionally, nationally and internationally, for the benefit of all its students and stakeholders.
