Job Description

Candidates with expertise in the following areas: Cultural and Creative Management, Business and Design Management. The candidate is responsible for teaching, management and promotion, supervising, tutorial and caring for students and invigilation during quiz and examination periods.

Job Requirement

Candidates should have a PhD degree of Cultural and Creative Management/Business Management or have a Master’s degree with extensive working experience in a related discipline for more than 5 years. Good English and/or Chinese proficiency both in oral and written communication is required. Candidates are required to know the academic theories and practices of the related discipline. Good promotion experience through social media and apps, exhibitions, statistical data analysis, photographic, video and graphic softwares are also preferable. Candidates should be cooperative, patient and enthusiastic, at the same time, he/she is expected to be able to work under pressure with good problem-solving skills. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable ability to undertake independent research leading to outcomes with a strong impact, such as publication in high quality, internationally recognized, indexed journals and scholarly presses. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.

Appointment Terms

Appointment to this position will initially be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Commencing salaries will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Fringe benefits include housing allowance (applicable to Assistant Professor and above), leave and medical insurance. Continuation of appointment beyond the initial term will be subject to mutual agreement.
