The Tchou Lab is recruiting a Research Specialist A to work in the area of breast cancer research using small animal and in vitro models focusing on the tumor microenvironment and its promotion and maintenance of breast cancer tumors including evaluating the role of T- cells in potential tumor suppression. Studies include t- cell isolation and growth, surgical procedures in rodent models, and tissue processing/ histology. Other tasks will include maintenance of logs and lab reports, surgery preparation, data analysis, retrieval of recent literature, ordering, and general lab maintenance. This position will first be overseen by a research specialist with more experience, with the ultimate goal that the research specialist A will oversee students with less experience.

A Bachelor’s Degree and 0 to 1 year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
