The Development & Alumni Relations Office (DARO) is seeking a Trusts and Foundations Manager as maternity cover for one year. The role will support our work in cultivating relationships with trusts and foundations and corporate charitable entities and generating high value donors to the University.

The Trusts and Foundations Manager will lead on the trusts fundraising strategy and manage a prospect pool of potential donors, soliciting for gifts upwards from five figures for the university’s key projects and initiatives. The role holder will work across the university schools working with the Executive team.

Alongside, major donor and individual giving, the Trusts and Foundations Manager will have the support of a Prospect Researcher and a Stewardship Manager to maximise donor relationships.

You will be creative, relationship focused with strong written communication and organisational skills. You will have a good understanding of donor motivations and fundraising processes and be able to adapt your approach to many different audiences and projects.
