Software Engineer (KTP Associate at Bloor & Co Ltd, Sheffield)
Bloor and Co Ltd. are a professional and well-regarded estate agent and in collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University they are seeking to recruit a high calibre graduate software engineer. You will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying an innovative on-line property sales service, using machine learning techniques. The new service is a major strategic venture for the company, and is one capable of transforming the on-line domestic property market.
You should be educated to degree level at 2(i) level or higher in computing with experience of artificial intelligence techniques. You must be self-motivated, have excellent communication and report writing skills and be able to work effectively on your own and as part of a team. Experience of commercial development, e-commerce and/or recommender systems is desirable.
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships is a world leading programme helping UK businesses to improve their competitiveness and productivity through the better use of knowledge, technology and skills. You will be based at the company’s offices on Abbeydale Road in Sheffield and will work directly with senior company staff. You will also receive additional support from experts at Sheffield Hallam University.
