PA to Head of School - Health Sciences
The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences has an exciting opportunity for an experienced PA to join them in providing excellent administrative support to the School of Health Sciences.
Reporting to the Executive Assistant whilst also providing skilled PA support to the Head of School and other senior school staff, you will possess excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and influencing skills, together with an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office. You will need to be highly organised, proactive, and able to work on your own initiative, sometimes under pressure and to competing/tight deadlines.
The role will require you to have a high level of accuracy, experience with complex diary management and problem solving skills; focusing on administration support for senior staff within the School, organising high level meetings and events, meeting facilitation and minute taking including ad hoc projects as appropriate.
The role will also have line management responsibility for the School Administrator who the post holder will manage and work closely with to ensure the smooth running of the School.
As requested via the Executive Assistant and/or Business Operations Manager this role will also include providing absence cover for the School Administrator and as required, across the wider Faculty PA and Administration team. You will be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to managing your team and workload.
