Salary: Senior Lecturer: £39,992 - £49,149; Lecturer: £34,520 - £38,832
Northumbria University is launching its new campus in the heart of the European Union in the city of Amsterdam with the first students enrolling in September 2018. This provides an exciting opportunity for research and teaching activities and the successful candidate is expected to show willingness to work in the Campus in Amsterdam, either on a secondment or potentially permanent basis.

Working within the Department of Marketing, Operations and Systems, you will join a team of highly qualified academics with a passion for enhancing the student experience. You will contribute to research informed and technology enabled learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels including our newly developed undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. A small number of these programmes will be offered at our new campus in Amsterdam. In addition to teaching, you will undertake research and scholarly activities contributing to the Faculty’s research profile, together with contributing to consultancy, enterprise, and other income generation and business development activities.
You must have (or be close to completing) a PhD or DBA in a relevant Information Management field, ideally coupled with a record of publications. With excellent interpersonal skills, you must be able to demonstrate expert knowledge in the field and be able to teach effectively on a range of academic and professional programmes using a variety of approaches to student learning. You will possess strong quantitative and/or qualitative analytical skills and ideally be a member of an appropriate professional body.
You will be given appropriate allowances and/or accommodation to support living expenses if you are seconded to the Amsterdam Campus on a short or long-term basis.
