Aston Law School, a constituent part of Aston Business School, has a distinctive mission – the provision of commercially intelligent legal education and research – reflecting our position in a leading international business school and in a university focused on maximising the employability of its students and impact of its research.

We currently offer two qualifying law degrees and also deliver law teaching across a wide range of business and management programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We have ambitious expansion plans, including the development of a new suite of LLM programmes, and are now seeking to recruit a Teaching Fellow to support these plans by providing additional teaching and enterprise expertise in the area of Business Law.

An ability to contribute to teaching IP Law is essential. An experience of teaching Law and non-Law students would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will be committed to excellent teaching and outstanding student support. They will also be in a position to add to our business and community engagement work.

As a growing Law School we offer a friendly, supportive and vibrant community of legal scholars embedded in a world-leading business faculty.

The post is available at grade 10 on a part-time basis. Interviews are due to take place week commencing 13th August 2018.

The post is available to start in the autumn of 2018. Informal enquiries about this post should be addressed to Dr Ryan Murphy (Dean of Aston Law School) by email or telephone 0121 204 3347.
