Food Science is a key discipline for the Faculty's excellence and growth strategy. We are now seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate who will guide research and teaching in this area. Reporting to the Head of School, the incumbent will help to set directions for the Faculty's future, developing programs and initiatives using multidisciplinary approaches that take advantage of the design research culture within the Faculty.

The appointee will be a well-respected already established or future leader internationally within their discipline. She or he will bring a sustained track record of advancing novel research and teaching and a passion for inspiring colleagues and students. A commitment for research and education that crosses disciplinary boundaries and proven ability to engage with partners in industry, government and the community more widely will be essential
