The School of Social Work seeks instructors to teach graduate courses in the Masters of Social Work program. These courses concentrate in the social work practice methods: interpersonal practice, management of human services, community organizing or social policy and evaluation and the social work practice areas of aging, children & youth, community and social systems, health or mental health. Instructors are appointed at 25% for the term for teaching a 3-credit course.
The selected candidate must have an MSW degree plus two years post-master's degree experience. Candidates with prior teaching and positive teaching evaluations are highly desired.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
