We are looking to appoint a friendly, excellent, experienced and well organised senior research administrator (I Grade). The post holder will co-ordinate, organise and assist the recruitment activities of a large national trial. The appointee will work closely with Dr Natalie Blencowe and the Bristol Clinical Trials and Evaluation Unit. There will be a focus on co-ordination of surgical trainees’ involvement in the trial.

The work will involve setting-up and maintaining systems of effective communication between surgeons and surgical trainees, research nurses and clinical trials units across the UK. This will include establishing and monitoring databases, monitoring RCT recruitment rates working closely with the trials team, managing a collection of research audio-recordings, regular team meetings, helping to organise events and training workshops locally and nationally and providing administrative support to the QuinteT and trainee collaborative leads.
