Research Assistant, School of Dental Medicine, Orthodontics
The primary purpose of this position is to support the efforts of the Research Director in administering the research activities of the department. This may include managing our databases, scanning films or casts to add to databases, and coordinating visits for research subjects. Scan models and radiographs from Forsyth twin study Coordinate patient visits for multiple clinical studies Manage and organize research data using software Anonymize and enter CBCT data into repository. The CBCT data are computer files that contain 3D xray images. They need to be anonymized, stored, and sometimes manipulated.
Bachelor's degree required.
Computer skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills and work ethic are critical and can substitute for formal education. In addition, at least two years in a comparable research coordinator position could substitute for the bachelor's degree.
