Global Engagement Administrator
We are looking for an experienced administrator to join the innovative and dynamic Global Engagement Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the University's international recruitment, global programmes and collaborative partnerships, widening access to the University to students from across the world.
The Global Engagement Directorate leads on the University’s international business development, notably student recruitment and international partnerships. The Directorate works closely with the faculties and other directorates to implement the University's global engagement strategy. The Directorate also has responsibility for managing the University’s five overseas offices, international marketing, the Erasmus+ programme and the international scholarship portfolio.
You will work as a member of the Conversion and Communications Team, providing excellent customer service to international enquirers via email, phone, social media and face to face. You will support the delivery and evaluation of the University’s international conversion and communication activities including online and offline events to support the recruitment of international students. The team has a culture of continuous improvement and is looking for someone who can respond to change in a positive manner.
Educated to GCSE/O level standard or equivalent, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will have experience of delivering excellent customer service, and organising a range of projects and events. You will have the ability to work effectively both independently and with a range of internal and external stakeholders, dealing with conflicting demands to ensure deadlines and customer needs are met. You will be able to use initiative and prioritise effectively in a busy environment. Being able to remain professional and customer focussed at all times is vital, as is a positive and flexible approach.
Experience working within Higher Education is desirable.
