The school of Engineering within the Faculty of Computing Engineering and Science, University of South Wales seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic engineering to assist with the delivery of its professionally accredited Engineering courses.

The successful candidate will join an established team focussed on delivering subject area courses and enhancing student experience.
The successful candidate is expected contribute to teaching and curriculum development in undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as supervise undergraduate and masters dissertation projects. 
The successful candidate will also be expected to conduct original research or consultancy in appropriate fields and play a lead role in collaborative research projects. The successful candidate will also be expected to assist with the administration of the Department and help enhance the subject area’s reputation in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering education and research.

Expertise and experience in these areas is desirable: power systems, control and automotive systems.

Applications are sought from enthusiastic professionals wishing to contribute to the delivery and development of courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and have an interest in developing teaching with relevant qualifications and industrial experience. 

Applicants should be suitably qualified as per the job description.

Undergraduate teaching experience is required as well as track record in research and/or consultancy. commensurate with career stage.
This position is based at Treforest Campus of the University of South Wales.
