Research Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology
Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline, preferably with a strong clinical background in geriatric mental health. Relevant post-doctoral work experience and an excellent track record of publications will be advantages. The appointee will contribute to the implementation of a project on elderly mental health in Hong Kong, which aims to pilot a collaborative stepped care and productive ageing model for preventing late-life depression in the elderly. He/She will take a leading role in overseeing the project; supervise a team of education officers and research assistants; prepare reports and academic publications; liaise with NGOs and relevant stakeholders; and undertake teaching/training duties related to the project.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
