University of Bristol Tennis - Head Coach, with responsibilities for student tennis, junior Performance Player Pathway coordination, junior and adult coaching.
The University of Bristol division of Sport, Exercise and Health are looking for a qualified, experienced, energetic and adaptable tennis coach to join our growing tennis team.
Based at our tennis centre at Coombe Dingle Sports Complex you will contribute to one of the most successful student tennis programmes in the UK and the largest tennis coaching programme in Bristol.
Your role will be to enhance student experience and support the quality and growth of coaching programmes. You will coach all 7 student teams and the advanced squad each week and coach across our programmes at Coombe Dingle and occasionally with Partner Schools across the City.
In addition, you will be responsible for the coordination of our junior Performance Player Pathway this includes communication with parents, captaincy of Premier Team Tennis teams throughout the summer and support with a calendar of workshops for our junior Performance Player Pathway players.
You will positively contribute to the wider development of the division’s work, particularly in relation to raising levels of participation to improving health and wellbeing amongst students, staff and the public.
You will have significant experience working within the higher education sector, will be a minimum LTA Level 3 coach and will maintain LTA Accreditation +.
