Sport Performance Officer
Department: Sport St Mary's
Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
Annual Leave: 20 days plus University Closure days
St Mary’s University invites applications for a highly motivated individual to develop, implement and co-ordinate a performance programme. The role will work with student sport clubs, scholarship athletes and a range of internal and external partners to deliver on the strategic aims defined in the ‘More than a Game’ strategy for student sport.
They will support St Mary’s in creating a culture and environment that will enable students to participate in an excellent student sports programme, to enjoy and fulfil their sporting potential and to have an outstanding student experience.
The post holder will be a member of the Sport Development & Partnership team that consists of colleagues from Sport St Mary’s and the Student’s Union. The role holder will provide leadership and technical advice on all areas of the student sport performance programme, with a particular focus on improving year on year BUCS performance.
