Collingwood College Development and Alumni Officer
This is a fixed term (12 months) full time (35 hours p/w) post.
Purpose of Role
The Development & Alumni Relations Officer is responsible for engaging with alumni (former students) and friends of Collingwood College. The post holder will be responsible to the Vice Principal of Collingwood and will be supported by the central Development & Alumni Relations Office (DARO). The post holder will provide a link between the College and DARO, taking a lead in maintaining and developing alumni relations, annual fund, and stewardship activities within the College.
The post holder will also work with the Major Gifts Team within DARO and provide support to the Principal and Vice Principal of Collingwood by accurately recording contact with prospects (potential or current donors), supporting him/her in the appropriate and timely stewardship of donors, and supporting the Principal in their role as a fundraiser for the College.
As this role is intended as a development opportunity, a support programme will be provided to enable the post holder to carry out the duties associated with the role.
