Furthermore we lead within the sector in delivering undergraduate courses to our valued industrial partners, namely Kier and Barratt.

We are looking for an inspirational Lecturer / Senior Lecturer with a commitment to enhance the student experience to join our successful Quantity Surveying team. You must be an excellent teacher with the ability to inspire our students on our undergraduate and postgraduate courses, bringing with you practical experience of the construction sector. You will be expected to particularly inspire students by linking your practical experiences to contractual procedure and administration along with costing and financing construction projects.

You must have good honours degree, or equivalent professional qualification and experience in Quantity Surveying. We encourage applications from those at different stages of their academic or professional career so teaching experience is not essential. This is an excellent opportunity for a practitioner looking to embark on a career in academia as full support and training will be provided. New staff with no experience of teaching in Higher Education will be required to undertake a year-long teaching course delivered at the university.
