We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to take ownership of the delivery of our payroll services and to provide excellent services to our employees and external third parties
Located in our Human Resources & Organisational Development Directorate, working as part of the HROD team you will be responsible for two payroll professionals. You'll oversee the production of a complex monthly payroll typically for around 5000 staff operated along with 4 pension schemes. You'll ensure full compliance with statutory and legislative requirements.
You will have demonstrable senior payroll/manager level experience in a large complex organisation, experience of working with diverse internal and external stakeholders including HMRC and pension providers, as well as a sound knowledge of payroll legislation.
Strong organisational and communication skills will be required, as will high attention to detail
Experience of working with defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes is desirable.
