Applications are invited for appointments as Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor (several posts) in the School of Nursing, to commence as soon as possible on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a primary nursing qualification registrable with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong, and a Ph.D. degree in nursing or related disciplines. They should have a strong track record of high-quality impactful research indicated by international publications and successful external grant applications, preferably in gerontology, long-term care, community health, women’s health and mental health. They should demonstrate a strong commitment to, and excellence in, teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; be experienced in the supervision of research postgraduate students; and be able to contribute to the development and enhancement of nursing and healthcare related courses offered by the Faculty. The appointees will be expected to develop significant independent research programmes with external research funding from competitive research schemes, undertake teaching duties at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and be active in research and educational innovations. For Professors/Associate Professors, applicants should also demonstrate an international standing, a distinguished record of scholarship appropriate to these levels, leadership, the ability to work across different health science disciplines, and significant experience in capacity building, supervising and mentoring early career researchers and research students. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointments will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
