Grade 6 - £26,495 to £32,548 per annum, dependent on experience (fixed term for 18 months)

The University has an ambitious research and knowledge exchange (RKE) strategy focused on building a strong RKE culture, increasing RKE income and supporting research that has real-world impact. To support delivery of this strategy, an additional Research Funding Co-ordinator positon has recently been created within the Grants Team.
Joining an established, friendly team, you will play a crucial role supporting a portfolio of research grant applications and improving the quality of the University's proposals to a wide range of research funders including; UK Research Councils, international funding programmes, charities and public bodies. The role is varied and you will also support “horizon scanning activities” aimed at identifying new funding opportunities and a programme of staff development activities.
You will have a proven track record of research support activities and be an excellent team player with the ability and self-confidence to use initiative to work independently and problem solve. Good communication skills are crucial in this role, alongside the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work effectively.
