Applications are invited for a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy.  This appointment is fixed term, and may provide a secondment opportunity for an applicant who is keen to explore an academic role. You will be joining a vibrant multi-disciplinary academic community, located in the department of Social Work, Education and Community Wellbeing. You will work flexibly as part of a team to contribute to teaching, learning and assessment to support the student experience. You will contribute to the teaching of both the university and placement components of the undergraduate and postgraduate Pre-registration Occupational Therapy programmes.  In addition, you will engage in research, professional practice and other scholarly activities in support of the University’s Corporate Plan.

You must possess a knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be able to apply this in the teaching of the subject. Professionally qualified and registered with the Health Professionals and Care Council, you will also be able to work in partnership with other disciplines and professions.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 therefore the successful candidate will be subject to a Criminal Records Bureau check.
