Starting Salary: £32,548
Hours: 36 hours per week

Estates and Campus Services is in an exciting phase of renewing its campus masterplan and estates strategy, planning the long term shape of its estate.

This role will form an integral part of that success as well as supporting the existing estate and business as usual operations. The Estates team is currently completing the provision of a new Student Hub as well as implementing significant refurbishment projects of student accommodation and teaching rooms.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our multi-disciplined team. In this role you will be responsible for developing and overseeing a wide range of capital and revenue projects varying in complexity and value, across our campus.

You will be qualified to at least degree equivalent standard in a building surveying related subject and working towards professional accreditation. Consideration will also be given to those applicants who can demonstrate significant relevant experience in project development and management on a similar scale.

Having sound and demonstrable experience within a similar role within a multi-sited estate and with a commitment to high quality and safety, you will have the proven ability to communicate a good technical understanding of construction and building maintenance and services. You will also be able to demonstrate robust, accurate and proficient specification writing skills combined with sound budget and project management control using various industry standard IT packages such as MS project, Word, Excel and AutoCAD. You should be familiar with JCT contracts and best practice procurement.
