We are looking for a psychology technician with practical knowledge of working in a scientific discipline to be a part of our growing psychology team who offer a range of vocationally relevant programmes underpinned by extensive research and publication.
To be successful you will have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills and an ability to work well with minimal supervision, acquire and apply knowledge of technical and administrative processes, procedures and systems. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of people and colleagues will be key to the success of this role.
About the Role
You will assist the Departmental Technical Coordinator in providing technical support for psychological teaching and research activities within the Department of Psychology by providing specific technical support to students and staff during practical sessions and giving advice and support for independent work as appropriate. A commitment to flexible working and the highest standard of health and safety is essential to maintain the organisation and management of the psychology laboratories (including the research cubicles, observation suite, PC/workshop area and storage facility), equipment and materials.
