We are seeking a Research Administrator to support the team working on an exciting five-year collaborative project, Balancing Best Interests in Healthcare, Ethics and Law (BABEL), which is funded by the Wellcome Trust.
The project explores “best interests” decisions in healthcare, ethics and law. The project is primarily a collaboration between colleagues in the Centre for Ethics in Medicine in Bristol Medical School, where the post holder will be based, and the Centre for Health, Law, and Society (the latter Centre is based in the Law School at the University of Bristol).
You will provide effective administrative support to the research project and the senior academics working on the project. You will act as a first point of contact for enquiries, and as a liaison point for all relevant internal and external contacts for the project and interact with the wider network of collaborators involved in the project.
You will be line managed by the project PI, Professor Richard Huxtable, and will also work closely with Dr Barbara Caddick, Dr Jonathan Ives and Dr Giles Birchley (Centre for Ethics in Medicine) and Dr Judy Laing and Dr Sheelagh McGuinness (Centre for Health, Law and Society).
Name, tel no and email details for informal contact/s: Richard Huxtable - email@example.com - 0117 331 4512 /
