Position Summary

The Department of Mathematics at Colorado State University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the area of combinatorics or number theory. The successful applicant must have a strong research program, as well as a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate mathematics courses as assigned by the Department Chair, as well as the continued development of an excellent and well-recognized research program.

Service to the department, college, university and community are also encouraged.

Required Job Qualifications

  1. Doctorate in Mathematics or related area at the time of appointment.
  2. Strong professional background preparing the candidate for teaching and research in mathematics.
  3. A strong research program in one of the areas of our search, combinatorics and/or number theory.

Preferred Job Qualifications

One or more years of post-doctoral experience, including both research and teaching at the college or university level.

Essential Duties
