Richmond, The American University in London is seeking an Admissions Officer to support the University’s operation in Boston during a period of reorganisation. We require an Admissions Officer who will provide high quality, proactive and effective support for our small recruitment and admissions team. This position requires travel in North America and some weekend and evening work. You must be committed, able to learn quickly, and have a customer service-focused approach to work. The work involves support for the Senior Admissions Officer in the development and maintenance of effective contacts with prospective students, parents, schools and other stakeholders. The Admissions Officer will maintain accurate electronic and paper-based filing systems, assist with recruitment planning and events, track application progress, and communicate promptly and professionally with prospective student, parents, enquirers, and university colleagues via email, telephone and meetings. Previous experience in a similar position in a higher education admissions setting is desirable.
