We are looking for an experienced web manager to take up a pivotal post with responsibility for ensuring the School of Management website meets our digital aspirations and audience needs. You will be responsible for the development and enhancement of the School of Management’s website, working closely with colleagues across the University in Marketing and Communications and External Affairs.

Role Description

Cranfield School of Management has long been recognised as one of the World’s leading business schools, with over 50 years’ experience developing business leaders. We are looking for an experienced web manager to take up a pivotal post with responsibility for ensuring the School of Management website meets our digital aspirations and audience needs.

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Operations you will be responsible for the development and enhancement of the School of Management’s website, working closely with colleagues across the University in Marketing and Communications and External Affairs.

Degree qualified and significant relevant experience, you will lead on web content and information architecture related issues, making recommendations with regard to industry best practice. You will be expected to exercise rigorous quality control over the web presence, ensuring that content is up-to-date and accurate. You will have a good understanding of usability and accessibility guidelines and the latest website development and industry trends.

It is a core requirement for applicants to have demonstrated experience using analytics and evaluation software to track and analyse web performance, interpreting the data to make recommendations to improve effectiveness and impact. You must also have recent experience using one or more content management systems, and providing support and training for web editors.

We are looking for strong influencing skills, excellent communication, organisational and time management skills with experience of establishing and maintaining networks across a large organisation. Formal project management skills will also be an advantage. Flexible working hours can be considered for this role.
