Senior Technician, Aeronautic Engineering
Join our team to support users of our laboratories and specialist facilities. We support academics, students and researchers in engineering disciplines such as aeronautics, materials testing, metrology, automotives and precision manufacturing.
You will be educated to HNC/HND or above in a relevant subject and / or have significant experience in a relevant engineering field. Able to lead by example, you will be well organised and have a shared responsibility for local health and safety implementation. Some flexibility towards working hours is also required and you will be responsible for equipment maintenance in liaison with appropriate team members.
With excellent interpersonal and communication skills you will carry out training & demonstrating of equipment operation to staff, students and external collaborators in order to support undergraduate, postgraduate and research and consultancy projects.
