The University has an experienced centralised timetabling and space resource management team which meets the needs of the four faculties and their constituent academic departments. We are seeking a Timetabler to work in our team. We provide support and guidance in the creation of timetables to meet the needs of different modules, courses, student, staff and room allocations.
As this role involves close and collaborative working relationships with faculty and directorate staff, you will have excellent communication skills enabling you to effectively advise customers. Excellent planning and prioritisation skills are essential to this role to facilitate the cyclical nature of the work involved. Experience of timetabling processes and software are not essential as training will be given to the successful candidate upon appointment as we use a timetabling database specific to Higher Education.
