Project Officer, Upskilling Lancashire
The University is seeking to appoint five Project Officers to support the delivery of the Upskilling Lancashire multi-partner project funded by the European Social Fund. The successful applicants will actively engage with Lancashire employers and employees to develop new and relevant workforce learning, skills and apprenticeship opportunities through the UpSkilling Lancashire Project.
The Project Officers will be responsible for networking with employers, visiting firms and businesses across Lancashire, undertaking training needs analysis and developing capacity building projects that will increase engagement in skills learning and apprenticeships.
Experience of sales, marketing or training development would be an advantage. Education to degree level or equivalent professional experience is essential, as is evidence of attention to detail and project planning skills.
Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. The majority of the positions will be based in Preston and at least one post will be based at the UCLan Burnley Campus. The posts are part-funded by the European Social Fund.
