Mater Research Institute – University of Queensland (MRI-UQ) is an alliance between Mater Health Services and the University of Queensland aimed at making the discoveries that will deliver improved health outcomes to the world. A key distinguishing feature of our research landscape is its multidisciplinary focus marrying the expertise of clinical and research teams. An exemplar is the Cancer Biology & Management Program (research.mater.org.au/Research/Improving- Treatment-of-Disease/Cancer-Biology-and-Management.aspx) which is looking to recruit scientifically and medically trained candidates into its PhD and Honours training program.
