In this developmental position, the Electrical Apprentice will receive on the job training and support and undertake study with a Registered Training Organisation to attain a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
The Facilities Management Division has primary responsibility for the provision and care of the University campuses.
The Apprentice will support the Maintenance team to meet and exceed its operational requirements and strategic objectives.
The Electrical Unit is responsible for developing and maintaining the University’s electrical infrastructure and assets in a sustainable and safe working condition. Electricians are tradesmen whose responsibilities are to design, install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical wiring systems. These systems are located in commercial or industrial buildings at UOW.
