About the role
The School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences focuses on applied research and professional education, enriched by the professional knowledge of its staff, state-of-the-art facilities, and strong partnerships with industry, community, and professional bodies.
The position is responsible for the implementation of FreezerPro®, a sample management software designed to record the exact location of biological samples housed in Ultra-Cold Freezers and a Cryogenic facility at the University of South Australia’s Cancer Research Institute. As the Project Officer you will be responsible for importing current data into the new management system, training and supporting end-users in the use of the software, and the subsequent roll out of FreezerPro® across the University. Please note, the incumbent will be provided with training and support on the FreezerPro® management system.
Skills and Experience
To be eligible, you will have a post-secondary qualification and experience in an administrative, IT or laboratory position together with demonstrated experience working with databases including importing and manipulating data. You will have strong communication skills and together with experience in training individuals/groups on the application and use of data software.
