- Part-time at 0.8FTE, fixed term contract until 31 December 2019
- Salary range: $$61,431 - $69,442 pro rata per annum (plus super)
About the Job
The Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences (EASS) comprises four Schools and a number of Research Centres. The Division employs in excess of 400 academic and professional staff to service over 9,000 enrolled students.
As the Administrative Officer you will be responsible for providing a broad range of responsive administrative services, executive and project management support related to the strategic work of the Division Office. You will utilise broad and detailed knowledge of EASS activity and administrative expertise, together with the broader organisational and stakeholder environment to contribute to the smooth and effective running of the Division Office.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have post-secondary qualifications in business / business administration or related field and/or demonstrated experience in providing executive level support to senior managers. You will have experience in proactively responding to challenges, determining competing priorities and exercising independent judgement.
To be successful in this role, you will have high level skills in office management, attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills along with highly developed computer literacy skills. It will be an added advantage for you to have knowledge of the University’s structure, policies and procedures.
