Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer (Teaching-Focussed)/Clinical Tutor within the DClinPsy Programme in the Department of Psychology. The DClinPsy Programme is located within the Psychology Department and consists of 12 academic staff, 4 administrative staff and a current intake of 29 trainees per year.

The person appointed will contribute to the running of a wide range of aspects of the doctorate, such as teaching, research supervision, visiting placements and trainee support and development. The main administrative responsibility for the post involves a clinical tutor role mainly focused on coordinating practice placements and developing trainees’ clinical competences. There are also opportunities for the post-holder to develop his or her own research interests in a way that supports the research and research supervision on the DClinPsy.

The post is open to applicants from the full range of clinical backgrounds. The successful candidate will have a degree in Psychology and a British Psychological Society recognised qualification in Clinical Psychology. Candidates should have at least two years of working in the NHS and experience of supervising trainees on placement.

This is a part-time, permanent post, available from 24th September, 2018, or as soon as possible thereafter. This post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
