THREE YEAR FIXED-TERM CONTRACT, FULL-TIME POSITION
The School of Engineering at ECU (Edith Cowan University) was established in 1992. It is currently one of the fastest growing engineering schools in the nation with a strong track record of success in developing and delivering quality engineering programs. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in petroleum, chemical, chemical and environmental, civil, civil and environmental, mechanical, mechatronics, electrical power, electronics and communications, control and automation, computer systems, naval architecture, ocean engineering, and marine and offshore engineering. In addition to the standard 4-year engineering degree courses, it was the first engineering school in Western Australia to offer the ‘3+2’ model of engineering education leading to a professionally accredited Master of Engineering. The School promotes the use and development of sustainable technologies in both teaching and research. The School is now seeking to appoint academic staff for Structural Engineering. We are looking for a suitably qualified person to contribute to the teaching and research activities in this discipline. The successful applicant will have a good track record in research and teaching in Structural Engineering. Work experience in the Structural Engineering industry will be an advantage. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to access the world-class teaching and research facilities in this School. The new position is located at the Joondalup Campus that is about 25 km north of the Perth CBD. Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $68,873 – $92,862 per annum (ALEVA), or $97,579 – $115,578 per annum (ALEVB), plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
