About the Job

The University of South Australia has recently established The Australian Alliance for Social Enterprise (TAASE) that delivers research and learning outcomes which have a broad application across issues of social equity, social inclusion and social service and is located within the School of Commerce, UniSA Business School. TAASE’s research agenda is driven by and for community sector partners, on behalf of their clients and the communities within which they work.

The Director: The Australian Alliance for Social Enterprise (TAASE) will provide strategic leadership to TAASE and be accountable for its performance. As the successful candidate you shall exemplify an outstanding level of performance and will continue to make major and innovative contributions to research which are recognised nationally and/or internationally. 

Skills and Experience

To be successful you will have a PhD qualification in a relevant discipline, a distinguished track record of high quality publications and an outstanding record of achievement in the field of Social Services or a related discipline relevant to the research strengths of TAASE. Your capacity to lead others in academic research projects, experience in leading a research alliance and evidence of key stakeholder relationships across government and non-government organisations is critical to your success, as is your achievements in research income from a diverse range of sources.
