Executive Officer in the School of Public Health (Ref.: ­­­­201800993) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in language studies, health sciences, business administration, or relevant disciplines, preferably a Master's degree, with at least 3 years' relevant executive experience in tertiary institutions. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English (with an overall band score of 7.5 or above in IELTS or equivalent) and Chinese; exceptional organizational skills; and proficiency in IT.  They should demonstrate the capacity for independent action; be ready for performing diversified duties; and be able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.  The appointee is expected to provide executive support to senior administrators on a wide spectrum of tasks which include, but are not limited to, quality assurance and accreditation of academic programmes, liaison with internal and external stakeholders, event coordination and management, committee support, student support services, programme administration, and special projects as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.
