Executive Assistant in the School of Public Health
Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) (2 posts) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 201800994) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably in media, communications, marketing, or business administration, with solid experience in publicity and event management at tertiary institutions. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; exceptional organizational skills; and be meticulous and tactful in dealing with people. Proficiency in HTML and Powerpoint, and graphic design experience using Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign are required. Knowledge of Google Analytics would be an advantage. Applicants should also demonstrate the capacity for independent action; be ready for performing diversified duties; and be able to work well under pressure. The appointee is expected to assist in school-wide marketing events, publicity campaigns and academic/training programmes; organize student activities and academic conferences; prepare bilingual promotional materials including images, videos and texts; manage the School's content management systems; liaise with students and stakeholders; manage databases; provide support to committees and conference secretariats; and undertake special projects as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.
